As an extension of our mission, we are proud to introduce our Grant Program, designed to provide financial assistance to these trusted partners.
Recent Grants
- $1,000 to Solidarity Engineering for water and sanitation projects. (September, 2023)
- $350 to repair a vehicle for a missionary who delivers needed goods in Mexico. (October, 2023)
- $400 to purchase propane heaters for a camp in Matamoros. (November, 2023)
- $500 to Casa Lulu to pay for food, medical expenses, and transportation costs. (November, 2023)
- $100 to a local pastor to purchase food for migrants in Reynosa. (January, 2024)
- $600 to Restoration Church to purchase critically needed blankets in Reynosa. (January, 2024)
Key Features of the Grant Program:
- Grant Amounts: Grants can range from $50 to $1,000.
- Eligibility: Only pre-approved trusted partners can apply for the grant. The projects should be in alignment with the mission and charter of the 13:2 Initiative. Specifically, the funds should be used to meet humanitarian needs at the border.
- Transparency: All applicants must submit an application, outlining the intended use of the funds and the timeline for the project. After the grant has been utilized, documentation such as receipts or photos are requested.
- Review Process: All grant applications will be carefully reviewed by our grant review committee, which consists of three or more board members from the 13:2 Initiative.
- Publicity: With permission, we may highlight the project details on our social media channels or with our donors, showcasing the tangible impact of the funds.
